Using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to Meet the Literacy Needs of All Students

Universal design for learning (UDL) provides a framework for classroom instruction that can have substantial impact on a wide range of students to ignite their interests and engage their learning through the applications of technology.

The framework of UDL is guided by 3 overarching principles to support learning:

Rose, D. H., & Meyer, A. (2002). Teaching every student in the digital age. Alexandria. VA: Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. http://www.cast.org/teachingeverystudent/ideas/tes/
